What the estimate includes
The calculator uses the IRS 2026 automated percentage method for a 2020-or-later Form W-4, plus employee Social Security and Medicare rules.
What it does not promise
Withholding is a prepayment estimate, not a complete federal income-tax return. Credits, other income and household circumstances may change final liability.
Salary take-home example
A $65,000 annual salary paid biweekly has gross pay of $2,500 per period before withholding and deductions. Filing status, W-4 entries and benefits determine the estimated net amount.
Frequently asked questions
How do I calculate a biweekly gross paycheck?
Divide annual salary by 26. Semimonthly payroll normally divides annual salary by 24, while monthly payroll divides it by 12.
Does Florida deduct state income tax from salary?
Florida does not impose individual state income tax, so the calculator shows that line as $0.
